As part of TOTO’s global CSR vision, to value human bonding is the purpose of TOTO participation in this year’s Yellow Ribbon Prison Run. This event creates awareness and acceptance to the public for giving second chance to the ex-offenders. TOTO would like to take this opportunity to create community action impact to integrating the ex-offenders back into the society.

One of the Yellow Ribbon Project's signature annual event is the Yellow Ribbon Prison Run. The Yellow Ribbon Prison Run is a race to complete the distance, while bearing in mind the difficult journey ahead for ex-offenders. The highlight of the activity will see runners given the rare opportunity to complete the run in Changi Prison Complex and enjoy performances by the inmate band from the Performing Arts Centre. This activity attracts an estimated crowd of 9,000 annually. “Through this event, I’ve come to realize that we should embrace the society with open mind. Funds raised through the event go towards the Yellow Ribbon Fund to rehabilitation and reintegration programmes for ex-offenders and support programmes for their family members. Improving people’s lives is what inspires every TOTO innovation. TOTO is committed to giving back to our society through this effort and have proven a tremendously enriching experience for all of us.
