TOTO Asia Oceania (Yangon Branch) recently held the beach cleaning activity in Chaung Tha Beach on 15 Feb 2020 as part of TOTO CSR Effort. Chaung Tha Beach is one of the popular site that attract many visitors and it is very common to see litters around the beach.
A total of 15 employees of TOTO Yangon participated in CSR activity. With the combined effort from TOTO Yangon and the local villagers who volunteer in participating in the beach cleaning activity, 7 bags of trash have been collected. Most of the trash collected are plastic items, glass and plastic bottlesa and food waste that were left behind by visitors.
TOTO Yangon hope to be part of saving oceans, save marine animals, preserve the natural treasures and keep toxic chemicals out of the water. Creating a safer environment and encouraging the right way to dispose of waste.
